Breakfast with Greg Bavington, Special Advisor to the Provost, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the Executive Director of the Dunin-Deshpande Queen’s Innovation Centre
Rumours Lounge November 18th, 2016 7:30am-9:00am
Entrepreneurship is a driving force in today’s economy with 98% of Canadian businesses are identified as small business. Centre’s and programming are popping up on campuses all across Canada and are delivering results in supporting students with job creation and new business and product development.
Greg Bavington is part of the team who is tasked with developing, delivering and coordinating several innovation and entrepreneurship programs both on the Queen’s campus, and in the greater Eastern Ontario region. He holds adjunct appointments in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science and the Smith School of Business.
Join us as we hear about how institutions can take steps to create a culture of entrepreneurship on campus and learn how we can benefit from some of Greg’s best practices to help students in all faculties see the potential of creating their own job instead of searching for it.
